No appointment needed — walk in anytime during business hours. We evaluate every item the same day, right in front of you, and pay cash on the spot.
Every item is evaluated by a specialist based on live market prices, condition, brand, and demand. Gold and silver are tested for purity and weighed. Sneakers, streetwear, and designer pieces are authenticated against retail standards. We walk you through the reasoning — no mystery numbers.
Cash or Zelle — your choice. We can also pay by check on request. Payment happens immediately after you accept the offer, right in-store.
Most transactions take 15–30 minutes from walk-in to cash in hand. Larger collections or items requiring detailed authentication may take a bit longer, but we'll let you know upfront.
No. We buy outright — no waiting, no fees, no percentage split. You get paid the day you come in.
Yes. Text clear photos to 917-608-8939 and we'll reply with a ballpark. Final offers are always confirmed in-store after hands-on inspection.
Yes. We operate as Vintage USA Inc, DBA East Village Buyers. NYC Department of Consumer Affairs License #2070477.
We're at 39 Avenue A, New York, NY 10009 in the East Village. It's between E 2nd & E 3rd St, a short walk from the F train at 2nd Avenue or the 6 at Astor Place. Selling gold? Here's how selling gold in the East Village works. Street parking is available on Avenue A.
Sunday: 12:30 PM – 6 PM  ·  Monday – Thursday: 12:30 PM – 6:30 PM  ·  Friday: 12:30 PM – 4 PM  ·  Saturday: Closed.
Absolutely. Bring everything — we'll evaluate each piece individually and make you a combined or itemized offer, whichever works better for you.
Yes. A valid government-issued ID is required for all transactions — this is a NYC requirement for licensed secondhand buyers.
Possibly. Text us a photo and description. If it's something we have a market for, we'll let you know. Our main categories are jewelry, gold, watches, sneakers, streetwear, designer bags, and electronics — but we occasionally buy outside those as well.
Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Ferragamo, Balenciaga, BB Simon, Hermès, Goyard, Prada, YSL, Tiffany & Co., and other authenticated luxury and hype accessories.
No. We only buy and sell authentic goods. Every piece is inspected — counterfeits and replicas cannot be purchased.
Designer belts, wallets, card holders, key pouches, coin purses, sunglasses, scarves, and small leather goods. Select jewelry-style accessories from Tiffany & Co. and BB Simon.
Good to excellent, usable condition. Light wear on belts and corners is fine. Cracked leather, broken zippers, missing hardware, or strong odors will reduce or disqualify the offer.
Yes — original packaging, receipts, and authenticity cards can strengthen provenance and may improve the final offer.
Select Chrome Hearts, BB Simon, and high-demand hype accessories are reviewed in-store. Text photos first if unsure.
All fine jewelry — rings, necklaces, chains, bracelets, earrings, and pendants. All metals: gold (10K, 14K, 18K, 22K, 24K), silver, and platinum. Branded pieces from Cartier, Tiffany, Bulgari, Van Cleef, David Yurman, and others are especially welcome.
Yes. Broken chains, bent rings, missing stones, and scrap gold are all accepted. We buy by metal weight, so condition matters less than purity.
We test purity with an electronic gold tester and acid test, then weigh the piece. Your offer is based on the live spot price of gold for your specific karat, minus a processing margin. We show you exactly what we're doing at every step.
Yes — loose stones and diamonds in settings. We evaluate cut, clarity, color, and carat weight. GIA-certified stones typically command higher offers. Fancy colored diamonds (pink, yellow, blue) are also of interest.
Yes to both. Sterling silver (.925), silverware, silver coins, and silver jewelry are all accepted. Platinum jewelry and loose platinum metal in any condition are also welcome.
Yes. We actively buy Rolex, Cartier, Patek Philippe, Omega, Audemars Piguet, IWC, Hublot, Tag Heuer, and other luxury timepieces. Walk in or text photos for a same-day offer.
Often yes. Original box, papers, hang tags, and service records can significantly increase resale value — which means a higher offer for you. Bring them if you have them, but they're not required.
Yes. Branded fine jewelry from Cartier, Tiffany & Co., Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, and others is valued for both its metal and stone content plus the brand premium.
We specialize in fine jewelry and precious metals. Costume or fashion jewelry with no precious metal or gemstone content is generally not something we buy. If you're unsure, text us a photo first.
Not required. But branded items with original receipts, packaging, or certificates typically receive higher offers since they're easier to verify and resell.
At East Village Buyers we buy gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, colored gemstones, sterling flatware, coins, estate and vintage jewelry, and signed designer pieces when authenticity checks out.
There is no real limit — whether it is one gold earring or a full estate collection, we evaluate and buy based on what you have. For very large lots, text photos to 917-608-8939 ahead so we can set aside enough time.
Call or text 917-608-8939 to schedule time with our appraiser. We are at 39 Avenue A in the East Village, open Sunday–Thursday 12:30–6:30 and Friday 12:30–4. Walk-ins are welcome; for big estate collections, giving us a heads-up helps us reserve dedicated time.
Walk-ins are welcome during store hours — most people just show up with a bag. If you want dedicated time without waiting while we assist other customers, texting ahead for a larger lot is a smart move.
We always offer a price on the spot after the appraisal. Same-day cash is what most people choose. For larger purchases, check is available — just tell us what works at the counter.
Yes. East Village Buyers operates as Vintage USA Inc with NYC Department of Consumer Affairs license #2070477. We have a real storefront at 39 Avenue A — not a mail-order operation or anonymous kiosk. You watch testing and weighing at the counter before you decide anything.
Yes — deadstock in original box with tags attached gets the best offers. The cleaner the condition and the more complete the packaging, the higher we can go.
Yes, for the right pairs. As long as they're clean and show minimal wear — light creasing on the toe box, clean soles — we'll make an offer. Heavy creasing, deep scuffs, sole yellowing, or separation reduces or eliminates value.
Nike, Air Jordan, Adidas (including Yeezy), New Balance, ASICS collabs, Travis Scott x Nike, Dior x Air Jordan, Rick Owens x Adidas, Chrome Hearts, Fear of God, Converse, and other limited or designer-collab footwear. Text photos if you're unsure about a specific pair.
Yes, but the original box in good condition adds to the offer — especially for grail pairs and limited releases where collectors expect complete packaging.
We inspect stitching consistency, font accuracy on tongue tags and insoles, glue pattern, midsole molding, colorway accuracy, and box label formatting — comparing against verified retail pairs. We've authenticated thousands of pairs and spot fakes quickly.
Heavily worn-through soles, mold or mildew, significant yellowing on white midsoles, structural damage, or confirmed fakes. When in doubt, text photos first and we'll let you know before you make the trip.
Yes — 80s and 90s Air Jordans, vintage Nike (Air Max, Huarache, Dunk), rare Adidas OGs, and other collectible deadstock from prior decades. These are some of our favorite buys.
Absolutely. Limited drops, exclusive collabs, and rare colorways are exactly what we specialize in. The more sought-after the pair, the better the offer we can make.
Yes. We buy both new and pre-owned sneakers depending on model, condition, size, market demand, and whether the original box is included.
Jordan, Nike, Yeezy, SB Dunks, Off-White, Travis Scott releases, New Balance collabs, and other high-demand collaborations.
It helps the offer — especially for deadstock and collabs. We still buy many pairs without the box after inspection.
Yes. Text clear photos to 917-608-8939 for an estimate before visiting. Final offers are confirmed in person.
Condition, rarity, demand, authenticity, completeness, packaging, and current resale activity all impact the offer.
Yes — Supreme, BAPE, Palace, Off-White, vintage band tees, workwear, and curated 90s/Y2K pieces in clean condition.
Supreme, BAPE, Off-White, Palace, Chrome Hearts, Fear of God, Essentials, Vetements, Balenciaga, Rick Owens, Stüssy, Corteiz, Trapstar, and more. If it's a coveted brand with resale demand, text us a photo.
Yes — condition matters. Items should be clean, free of visible damage, and free of strong odors. Like-new to good condition is ideal. Heavy pilling, fading, or staining significantly reduces the offer.
Louis Vuitton, Hermès (Birkin, Kelly, Constance), Chanel, Gucci, Prada, Balenciaga, Fendi, Celine, Goyard, Dior, and Bottega Veneta. Hermès Birkins and Kellys in particular command strong offers.
Helpful but not required. Authentication cards, dustbags, original boxes, and receipts can increase your offer — but we authenticate every piece in-house regardless of what documentation you bring.
We check hardware stamps and engravings, stitch count per inch, date codes, leather grain and smell, lining font and stitching, and zipper brand consistency. Having handled thousands of luxury pieces, we identify fakes quickly and accurately.
Yes — Louis Vuitton wallets, Gucci belts, Hermès card holders, Prada pouches, Bottega Veneta accessories, and similar items in good condition are welcome.
Yes — Cartier, Dior, Gucci, Celine, Chanel, and other luxury eyewear accepted. Original case and authenticity documentation help but aren't required.
Yes — Hermès silk scarves and ties are popular items we actively buy. Condition and original packaging matter. Other luxury house scarves (Gucci, Louis Vuitton) are also considered.
Yes, selectively. Vintage pieces from sought-after eras — 90s Ralph Lauren, vintage band tees, archive Supreme — can command strong offers. Text photos and let us take a look.
Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermès, Gucci, Dior, Prada, Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Celine, Saint Laurent, and other major luxury houses. If you're unsure, text us photos — we'll tell you straight.
No. We only buy and sell authentic designer goods. Every piece is inspected for authenticity. Counterfeits, replicas, and super-fakes cannot be purchased — and we won't be able to make an offer on them.
Not required — we buy bags without receipts all the time. That said, an original receipt, dust bag, and box can strengthen your offer, especially on Hermès, Chanel, and high-value pieces.
Good to excellent condition. Light corner wear, minor scuffs, and normal vachetta patina on LV are fine. Heavy staining, cracked leather, broken zippers, or strong odors will reduce the offer or disqualify the piece.
Yes — we sell authenticated pre-owned designer handbags and accessories in-store. Inventory changes daily. Walk in to browse, or text us what you're looking for and we'll tell you when we have a match.
Every piece we sell is inspected for authenticity before it goes on the floor. We check serial numbers, stamps, hardware, stitching, and construction — the same process we use when buying from sellers.
iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, AirPods, Apple Watches, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch (all versions), Sony cameras, Canon and Nikon DSLRs, GoPros, DJI drones, Samsung phones, and more. Text a photo if you're not sure about a specific item.
iPhones must have Find My iPhone disabled and should ideally be factory reset. If Find My is still active and you can't remove it, we may not be able to make an offer. We'll walk you through the reset process if you need help.
Sometimes. Cracked screens, dead batteries, or non-booting devices can still have value depending on the model and repairability. Text a clear photo first — we'll let you know if it's worth the trip before you come in.
Yes — PS5 (disc and digital), Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch OLED, and older generation consoles in good working condition. Limited edition or special-release consoles command higher offers.
Yes — Sony, Canon, Nikon, and Fujifilm mirrorless and DSLR bodies and lenses. DJI drones in working condition are also accepted. Bring all accessories, batteries, and chargers for the best offer.
We factory reset all devices before reselling. That said, we strongly recommend factory resetting your device yourself before bringing it in — it's the safest way to ensure your data is gone.
Yes. Phones, tablets, and laptops with the original box, charger, and all accessories receive higher offers because they're easier to resell. Bring everything you have.
Yes — both are in high demand. Apple Watch must be signed out of iCloud and unpaired from your iPhone before coming in. AirPods should be in their charging case, and the case should hold a charge.
Yes, though offers depend on the model and market demand. Recent releases (last 2–3 years) get the best offers. Older models may still have value — text a photo and we'll be upfront about what we can do.
iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max — and all iPhone 17 models as they release. All colors qualify. We do not buy iPhone 15 or older.
No. iCloud-locked iPhones have zero resale value. Before coming in: Settings → your name → Sign Out, then Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Erase All Content.
Hairline cracks that don't affect touch or display — yes, with a reduced offer. Shattered screens with dead zones — no. Text us a photo first so you know before making the trip.
Color doesn't — we buy every colorway equally. Storage does: 256GB gets more than 128GB, 512GB more than 256GB. Battery health and screen condition matter most.
Not required. The phone itself drives 90% of the offer. Original box, cable, and charger add a small bonus but don't stay home without them.
No — brand new only. Sealed box or open box that has never been paired. AirPods show us their pairing history when we check.
