Sell Your Dior Bag in NYC
Lady Dior, Saddle, Book Tote, Bobby, 30 Montaigne, Caro and Dior Oblique pieces, new and vintage. We authenticate at the counter in front of you and pay cash the same day, or put the value toward something in our case.
What We Buy
Lady Dior, Saddle, Book Tote
The Lady Dior in every size, the Saddle (the original and the current version), the Book Tote, Bobby, 30 Montaigne, Caro and Diorama, plus Oblique canvas pieces, wallets and card holders.
Classic silhouettes like the Lady Dior, Saddle and Book Tote are consistently in demand, and limited pieces can do well too. For more on what moves a Dior offer, read how to sell Dior in NYC.
Authentication
Date Codes, Stamps and Stitching
Most Dior bags carry a date code stamped on a small leather tab inside, along with the Christian Dior Paris heat stamp. We check the code's format against the style and era, and the lettering of the stamp itself.
On a Lady Dior, the cannage stitching should be even and the D.I.O.R. charms cleanly cast. On a Saddle, the shape and hardware matter. On Oblique canvas and the Book Tote, the pattern and embroidery should line up cleanly. Counterfeit Dior is common, so we look at all of it, not one detail.
Condition
Charms, Corners and Canvas
Lambskin Lady Diors show corner wear and scratches on the charms. Book Totes in light colors pick up stains, and the embroidery can fray at the edges. Saddles wear along the curve and on the strap.
Check that zippers, clasps and charms are all there and working. Light wear is fine; missing hardware and heavy staining lower the offer.
Bring the Extras
Box, Strap and Card
Bring the dust bag, box, receipt, shoulder strap and any authenticity card or care booklet. On a Lady Dior, make sure the charms come with it.
None of it is required. Gifted and inherited bags are welcome as long as they pass authentication.
